I've received a lot of sympathy cards in the last two weeks, many of which were amazing in their poignancy.
But sometimes that can get a bit much, so I want to share with you one of the oddest, yet refreshing cards I have received. I found this waiting for me last Sunday night when I got back from Sequim. It had been an emotionally exhausting day, and this was totally unexpected, but very welcome.

The sender of this particular card remarked to me later this week that she had been looking at the sympathy cards and they were all just so sad.
Sometimes laughter is the best medicine.
