Yeah, blogging AWOL again. I just reflected back on the last five weeks and it just hasn't stopped, really.
June, week4: High school camp. Even had to give up my cell phone.
July, week 1: Sue's birthday, trip to Orcas Island. Also started a month of playing every week for Sunday services, requiring rehearsal, etc.
July, week 2: Stayed home, but catching up at work for missing most of previous 2 weeks.
July, week 3: Work trip to Atlanta. Note: July is a bad, bad time to be in Atlanta (90 deg, 90% humidity). Did manage to catch a Braves-Cardinals baseball game, though.
July, week 4: Work trip to UK. Note: BA first and business class are nice, but still leave one prone to respiratory infections. Which I ended up with upon my return home. No fun, let me tell you.
Now at least there are a couple of weeks off, before we fly to Minneapolis for Sue's Masters in IT graduation. Then two weeks after that we're off to Hawaii.
But, oh yeah, play rehearsals started up, too (Harvey - I'm Judge Gaffney.)
So just wait, I have lots of ideas, I just have to slow down enough to write some stuff down.
But, for starters, let me just say that J. K. Rowling should have been hired as a consultant by Chris Carter. If the X-Files had ended even 1/100th as satisfactorily as the Harry Potter series, he'd still be making TV shows. Yeah, you too, Joss Whedon.
